The Center for Functional GI and Motility Disorders will be well represented at this years Digestive Disease Week (DDW)
in Chicago, Illinois this year. DDW will be held on May 3 – 6, 2014 at Hyatt Regency McCormic Place.

William Whitehead, Olafur Palsson, and Miranda Van Tilburg will give 9 oral presentations about the Center’s research projects.
The Center will also be presenting 6 posters at DDW.

Digestive Disease Week is an event that showcases the hard work researchers, clinicians, and basic scientists have done
to advance our understanding of gastroenterology. This annual conference is the highlight of most GI focused academic and
medical professionals. In addition to learning about the gastrointestinal research being conducted nationally and
internationally, the conference also offers continuing medical education (CME) sessions and opportunities to interact with
pharmaceutical companies and learn about new technology, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.

All Center faculty and staff have worked hard to get to this point and I would like to take
a moment to applaud their efforts and congratulate them on this accomplishment!
