Amelia R. DeFosset, MPH, is a graduate of UCLA Fielding School of Public Health where she focused in public health program design and evaluation. Before joining UNC Health, she supported evaluation, applied research, and quality improvement efforts within the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. In this role she led a range of projects focused on systems and practice improvement within the healthcare safety net, juvenile justice systems and the education sector. Her interests include leveraging data and multidisciplinary teams to foster learning and improvement in complex systems.
