Anna Caffrey-Bottoms is a fourth-year medical student from Waynesville, NC interested in Family Medicine. Prior to medical school she worked in IT where she became interested in quality improvement. After transitioning to medicine, she wanted to combine her interest in medicine with QI work, which led her to becoming a Clinician Leadership in Quality and Safety (CLQS) Scholar. This year, she is excited to be working with Dr. Dana Neutze on a project about Medicaid expansion and its impact on primary care quality metrics.
