In addition to his work with Me Fine, Joey is a father of two children who have been treated extensively at UNC Children\u2019s Hospital. He currently serves on the Children\u2019s Patient and Family Advisory Board, the Children\u2019s Hospital Improvement Council, and is heavily involved with New Nurse Orientation, Hillman Scholar Orientation, and other ad hoc projects around the hospital. He is also a member of the Family Advisory Council of the American Board of Pediatrics.
