About

I am so happy to be back home in North Carolina. I went into primary care to have long term relationships with patients, to treat them as a person not just a disease. My goal in each visit is to have a plan that achieves the patients’ goals of health.

I am a Primary Care doctor working at UNC Internal Medicine at Eastowne. I see primary care patients and supervise residents seeing their own primary care patients. I am passionate about excellence in outpatient care and making sure that all doctors trained at UNC Internal Medicine are knowledgable about primary care. I love being able to teach both my patients about their health and all types of learners about general medicine principles. I have a special passion for Women’s Health and LGBTQ Health. I strive to take care of my patients holistically and emphasize preventative health. I want to make sure all people are welcome at UNC and provide gender affirming care.
