Dr. Freeman supports the recruitment and admissions efforts for UNC’s Biological & Biomedical Sciences Program (BBSP). Dr. Freeman also serves as co-director of the NIH funded IMSD program. In this role she works to promote the development and success of biomedical PhD students including those from groups that have historically had limited opportunities in biomedical research. Additionally, she facilitates inclusive awareness programming for the SOM.
