Innovation Pilot Awards - UNC Health Enterprises

Each year, the Center for Health Innovation offers internal pilot funding to UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine employees for health care innovations across a broad spectrum of interest areas, such as:

Care delivery models
Health equity/disparity improvements
Technology development
Advanced analytics
Business models
Workforce development
Translational research

Proposals are evaluated on their significance, novelty, methods, feasibility, and alignment with the Center’s mission.

The 2024 Innovation Pilot Awards Request for Proposal is closed. The 2025 award cycle will open in Fall 2024. Look for announcements on the 2025 cycle in UNC Health and School of Medicine e-newsletters and on our web pages.
