Please plan to join teammates and leaders in UNC Medical Center’s celebration of Carolina Quality on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022. We will honor the ways we practice Carolina Quality each day while renewing our commitment to better, safer care.

From 9 – 9:15 a.m., Janet Hadar and Dr. Matt Mauro will lead the dedication of Carolina Quality in Old Clinic Auditorium. All UNC Medical Center and UNC Faculty Physician teammates are invited to the dedication. The dedication will be available via Webex and recorded for later viewing. A leader preparation session will immediately follow the dedication. Clinical and operational leaders should plan to attend the back-to-back sessions, from 9-9:50 a.m., in lieu of the October Department Heads’ meeting.

From 9:15 – 9:50 a.m., all clinical and operational leaders should stay for the Carolina Quality Leader Preparation session. Leaders are strongly encouraged to attend this session in-person. Old Clinic Auditorium can accommodate 279. To attend in-person, leaders should register using this link. The session will also be available via the same Webex link and recorded for later viewing.

From 2 – 4 p.m., please stop by the UNC Children’s Hospital Lobby for an in-person Carolina Quality Learning Fair. Join colleagues to grab a treat, learn more about Carolina Quality and test your knowledge to win prizes.

Between Oct. 19-21, Carolina Quality ambassadors will visit Eastowne, Hillsborough, WakeBrook and UNC Medical Center units and clinics to share Carolina Quality information, swag and treats.
