Jill Watson, MHA, has been announced as the next associate chair of administration (ACA) for the department of medicine. She will begin work in her new role on Nov. 3.
She currently serves as ACA for neurology and has held that role since 2022. Prior to that, Jill was the associate chief for administration for the divisions of hospital medicine and geriatrics in the department of medicine.
Jill first joined the UNC School of Medicine as an administrative intern in 2012 and has since held a variety of key administrative and operational positions, including business manager of the Meadowmont heart and vascular clinics. Jill received her BS in Business Administration from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and her Master of Health Care Administration from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
