The Department of Neurology ALS Clinic is celebrating two recent milestones. The clinic received recognition from our community partner, ALS United, for excellence in the care of people living with ALS—an honor that reflects our team’s commitment to compassionate, coordinated, multidisciplinary care. Jorge Almodovar Suarez, MD, and Chelsea Simmons, DNP also represented our program at the ALS Association’s Roundtable in Washington, D.C. This discussion focused on “Expanding Capacity of and Access to Multidisciplinary Care for People Living with ALS.”
Dr. Almodovar served as a panelist for the session “What Constitutes Multidisciplinary Care in ALS, and What Resources Are Required to Deliver It in a Coordinated Clinic Setting?”
