The UNC School of Medicine Admissions Office invites faculty from across the School of Medicine to participate as interviewers for our upcoming admissions cycle.
Serving as an interviewer is an important and rewarding way to support the mission of our School—to advance the health and well-being of North Carolinians—by helping select the next generation of physicians who will serve our state and beyond. Faculty perspectives and experiences are invaluable as we identify applicants who will thrive at UNC and contribute to that mission.
Faculty who participate are asked to:
- Attend one of the 30-minute virtual training sessions below (or watch the recorded session once it is available)
- Friday, August 21 @ 12:00-12:30 PM (Click here to join)
- Tuesday, September 1 @ 4:00-4:30 PM (Click here to join)
- Watch one brief preparatory video (roughly 15 minutes total)
- Participate in as many interview sessions during the admissions cycle as your schedule allows. Interviews run from 12:50 to 4 pm EST on these dates.
- Complete brief evaluations of their applicant immediately following the interview.
We welcome participation from faculty across departments, specialties, and campuses.
