A search will begin in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>Boggess started her role in the Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development (FALD) office in July 2020. Her work focused on faculty affairs including oversight of the appointments, promotion and tenure process, recruitment and retention efforts, and execution of aspects of the UNC School of Medicine\u2019s Strategic Plan <em>Forward Together.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to thank Dr. Boggess for her hard work and dedication to our faculty and to faculty affairs. We greatly appreciate her contributions to our FALD office and the School of Medicine,\u201d said Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Jennifer Wu, MD, MPH.<\/p>\n<p>Boggess has been a member of the UNC School of Medicine faculty since 1999.
