This week, we\u2019re reflecting on what it means to be ONE UNC Health as part of Hospital Week 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In any single visit to a UNC Hospitals or UNC Faculty Physicians facility or clinic, patients and their loved ones interact with several teammates. With each of those individual interactions, we build their complete care experience. No matter your role in a patient\u2019s healthcare journey here, your commitment makes an impression. As leaders we regularly hear from patients and families about how you change lives for the better \u2013 and it\u2019s not only us and our patients who notice the work you\u2019re doing. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Recent Leapfrog ratings highlight your continuous commitment to improving safe, patient-centered care. In ratings released days ago<\/span><\/span>, UNC Hospitals jumped a letter grade \u2013 up to a B \u2013 spotlighting tremendous work done through the COVID-19 pandemic. That improved grade reflects everything you\u2019ve done to minimize errors, accidents, injuries and infections. It is also a credit to the systems you are building and refining to support both our patients and our team. Thank you. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This week, we hope you take a moment to reflect on the positive, inspirational work happening around us.\u00a0Together, we\u2019ll continue to build upon what it truly means to be ONE UNC Health. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
