Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us learn how our teammates from across UNC Health understand and demonstrate our\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">four System values: One Great Team, Carolina Care, Leading the Way, and It Starts with Me<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">Here are a few of the things we learned:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">You would like to see us better describe our values through the development of behaviors and suggestions for how we can live them every day, in every interaction.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">You think compassion and kindness are the most important part of all four values.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">You are proud of the high-quality care we provide to our patients and communities and believe we should demonstrate the same level of kindness and compassion to our teammates and ourselves.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">You would like to see patients\u00a0<strong>and\u00a0<\/strong>teammates equally represented in each of our values. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">The culture shifts you would most like to see include increased accountability of self and others, psychological safety and collective ownership.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">We will be diving into your feedback in the coming weeks, which we will use to inform next steps as it relates to helping teammates understand\u00a0<\/span><i><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">how\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">to live our values every day, as well as which culture shifts are most critical to our future success.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to the Culture team with any questions, ideas and\/or feedback by emailing\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:ONEUNCHealth@unchealth.unc.edu\"><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\"><u>ONEUNCHealth@unchealth.unc.edu.<\/u><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">Thank you again for taking the time to participate in our ONE UNC Health journey and everything you\u2019re doing to care for our patients, teammates and communities!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">With Gratitude,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">Katie Eimers<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">Chief Culture &amp; Engagement Officer<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"EN-US\">UNC Health &amp; UNC School of Medicine<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Teammates, I want to start by thanking everyone who participated in the\u00a0Virtual Forum for Values &amp; Behaviors\u00a0a few weeks ago!
