In her role, Cross contributes to the mission of the Office of Research to support the research enterprise of the School of Medicine. Cross succeeds Trisha Dant, PhD, who will be stepping down on November 29, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Cross joins UNC from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she held appointments as Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and Adjunct Professor of the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering. Cross was also the Director of the Sports Medicine Research Division, Adjunct Research Director of the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Engineering Center, and Resident Research Facilitator.
