The study is being conducted by Dr. Angela Smith in the Department of Urology at the UNC School of Medicine.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The information we gain from this study will help us design professional coaching interventions that are sustainable and can be disseminated widely to UNC Health physicians.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Eligibility criteria include:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Age \u2265 18 years old<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English<\/li>\n<li>Employed as a full-time (\u226580% FTE) attending physician at a UNCH facility<\/li>\n<li>Active medical license<\/li>\n<li>Board eligible or board certified in your specialty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Participating in the study will include the following:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified coaches will conduct confidential, small group (n=4) coaching sessions with study participants over UNC\u2019s Zoom platform every 2 weeks for 3 months (6 sessions total).\n<ul>\n<li>Each session will last approximately 60\u201375 minutes and will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time for the group\u2019s members.<\/li>\n<li>The initial session will focus on reflection, goal setting and identification of potential strategies. Subsequent sessions will address progress in goal setting and action planning and commitment statements.<\/li>\n<li>Topics for discussion will be based on the group\u2019s interests and needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Participants will be asked to complete confidential surveys at baseline, and at 3 months and 6 months respectively.<\/li>\n<li>There will also be a brief semi-structured interview at the end of the study to evaluate acceptability and feasibility of the intervention.<\/li>\n<li>The total time commitment will be approximately 9 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Participants will receive coaching at no charge and will also receive a $50 gift card for completion of each of the surveys and semi-structured interview.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If you are interested in participating in the study, please click on the link below and complete the survey to determine if you are eligible.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a class=\"ms-outlook-linkify\" href=\"https:\/\/rc2.redcap.unc.edu\/surveys\/?s=X8JAJDCNKHX7KLEW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-linkindex=\"0\">https:\/\/rc2.redcap.unc.edu\/surveys\/?s=X8JAJDCNKHX7KLEW<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This study has been reviewed by the UNC IRB, IRB# 24-1079.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Dr. Smith at the contact information below.
