Asia Mieczkowska has been selected to serve as program manager in the Center for Molecular Medicine. Her first day in the position was Aug. 11.<\/p>\n
Asia most recently served as director of strategic operations at UNC Renaissance Computing Institute, where she led the strategic operations division. Prior to that role, she served as a research specialist and lab manager in the UNC Department of Biology.<\/p>\n
As program manager, Asia will serve as a pivotal member of the Center for Molecular Medicine\u2019s team, working closely with the director and other center leaders to oversee high-level operations and shape the center\u2019s strategic vision in its research, education and service missions. She will also be responsible for all administrative operations, including the center\u2019s Viral Vector Core.<\/p>\n
