The AOE is dedicated to fostering excellence in medical and biomedical education through teaching, mentoring, curriculum design, leadership, and scholarship. Membership offers opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and recognition within our community of educators.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"703\"><strong data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"701\">Important Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"1258\">\n<li data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"764\">\n<p data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"764\">Applicants must attend two AOE events before applying.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"928\">\n<p data-start=\"767\" data-end=\"928\">Membership is awarded based on accomplishments in areas such as teaching, curriculum development, advising and mentoring, educational leadership, and research.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1083\">\n<p data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1083\">Completion of programs such as <strong data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"974\">FLAGship<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"978\" data-end=\"989\">TARHEEL<\/strong> automatically qualifies participants for membership with a streamlined application process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1258\">\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1258\">Applications are due <strong data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1129\">September 30, 2025<\/strong>; new members will be announced in late October and inducted at the <strong data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1255\">Frank C.
