Fleming Fuller Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2025 H. Fleming Fuller Award. The Fuller Award recognizes members of the medical staff who demonstrate the qualities embodied in Dr. Fuller\u2019s lifelong dedication to the highest standards of patient care, teaching and community.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations may be made by any UNC Health teammate, member of the medical staff, or house staff. To make a nomination, please share the CV of your nominee and a brief statement outlining why your candidate meets the criteria outlined below to\u00a0<a title=\"mailto:jamie.williams@unchealth.unc.edu?subject=2022%20Fuller%20Award%20Nomination\" href=\"mailto:jamie.williams@unchealth.unc.edu?subject=2022%20Fuller%20Award%20Nomination\" data-linkindex=\"0\">Jamie Williams.\u00a0\u00a0<\/a><u>Please make your nomination by Friday, Nov. 14.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Criteria adopted by the Board for the Fuller Award state that nominees should be selected on the basis of the following attributes:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Unwavering personal commitment to treating patients with compassion and respect;<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing service as a staunch advocate for maintaining clinical excellence including the highest standards of patient safety, satisfaction and wellbeing both physical and emotional;<\/li>\n<li>Effectiveness as a professional role model for the students and young physicians responsible for the care of future generations; and<\/li>\n<li>Sense of civic responsibility through active participation in groups or organizations concerned with the health and well-being of North Carolina\u2019s citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any member of the attending medical staff is eligible for nomination.
