The UNC School of Medicine is seeking a skilled career goal advisor (CGA) for the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology to assist and advise students who are interested in applying into ObGyn for residency. Head career goal advisors will meet with students one-on-one and in groups to help them choose Individualization phase courses and to make data-driven choices in their application to optimize their Match outcomes. They will also review applications if students need input and feedback. CGAs will provide information related to their specialty match and work closely with all resources in UNC SOM Office of Student Affairs. This position will be supported at 0.1 FTE (at least 184 hours of work per Match cycle) and will be supervised by the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. Advisors are expected to be available and accessible to respond to student questions and concerns; some after-hours availability is expected.
