A<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">pplicants should be practicing physicians with a passion for coaching and supporting students, including struggling learners. The FPAC role involves working as part of an integrated team in the Office of Academic Excellence (OAE) and Student Affairs. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest in medical education, as well as prior experience with tutoring and\/or teaching. However, applicants do not need to have existing expertise in test-taking, educational theories, or existing study resources. The OAE will provide training for the FPAC role.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">A key function of the FPAC is to have 1:1 meetings with students. Additionally, the FPAC will work collaboratively with the OAE team to monitor student progress and provide large group programming.\u00a0 Attendance at twice-monthly OAE team meetings is required, which are held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 10:00am-11:30am.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Applicants should have excellent organizational skills and be compliant with documentation requirements and administrative tasks. They should have bandwidth to occasionally meet with students after hours for urgent issues.
