This is a unique opportunity for a faculty member to assist with the on-going implementation and evaluation of simulation-based medical education. Please consider applying if you are interested and want to learn more about this role.<\/p>\n<p>An ideal candidate is enthusiastic about simulation, committed to teamwork, has demonstrated leadership skills and educational methods\/skills, is involved in active clinical practice, and has excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the Translational Education at Carolina (TEC) curriculum is beneficial but not required.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, coordinate and revise the immersive and simulation aspects of the Foundation Phase simulation-based education.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with logistics and operations of Foundation Phase simulation-based education.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, implementation, and integration of emerging simulation technology.<\/li>\n<li>Foster positive relationships with Phase Directors, Course Directors and assist faculty with the planning and execution of simulation activities.<\/li>\n<li>Attend phase committee meetings and other assigned committee meetings regarding simulation and general curriculum development.<\/li>\n<li>Promote positive communication and collaboration among support staff, faculty and administrative leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Role is supported at 10% FTE.<\/p>\n<p>Please submit a short Letter of Interest and your CV to Sofia Aliaga, Director of SET Center at Sofia_aliaga@med.unc.edu<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UNC School of Medicine Simulation, Experiential Learning and Training (SET) Center is recruiting a Curricular Representative for the Foundation Phase Simulation curriculum.
