Cambray is an MD-PhD student pursuing her PhD in Health Policy and Management. She entered UNC School of Medicine in 2020 and is expected to graduate with her dual degrees in 2028. She attended North Carolina State University and worked in biomedical ethics research at Mayo Clinic prior to medical school matriculation. Her research has spanned anthropology, epidemiology, ethics, health disparities research, history, and systems thinking, and she has published in Journal of the American Medical Association, JNCI: Journal of the National Cancer Institute, Npj Digital Medicine, and Mayo Clinic Proceedings, among other journals. She looks forward to a career that combines primary care medicine with public health and social medicine research. She has written creatively and been involved with publishing literary magazines since middle school. In her free time she likes to read, spend time outdoors, and hang out with her cat.
