I wonder if the sun and moon could ever be the same<\/span><\/p>\n

Rising and falling as a single entity<\/p>\n

Luminescent, cyclically bound, undivided.<\/p>\n

The laws of physics say otherwise<\/p>\n

Earth\u2019s rotation permitting only<\/p>\n

One phase in one place<\/p>\n

A high tide lurking underneath a dark sky<\/p>\n

A shadow cast when the rays descend light.<\/p>\n

Day and night, black and white, peace and fight<\/p>\n

A dichotomy of senses<\/p>\n

A postulation with no middle ground<\/p>\n

The assumption that opposition captures entirety<\/p>\n

Seems mundanely confined to be sound.<\/p>\n

Then triumph cannot come without loss<\/p>\n

Awakening of parenthood without waning of breath<\/p>\n

Healing and hurting<\/p>\n

Courage and fear<\/p>\n

Resistant, simultaneous contradiction.<\/p>\n

An epiphany of time<\/p>\n

No sense of permanence, an obscure transience<\/p>\n

Footprints in the sand washed away at second glance<\/p>\n

Passing the torch, greatness is fickle<\/p>\n

Knowledge gained through relativity.<\/p>\n

There is unexplored terrestrial space<\/p>\n

An interstellar of all fates<\/p>\n

Accepting a spectrum of thought<\/p>\n

Never forgetting what is lost.<\/p>\n

I wonder when the sun and moon will be the same<\/p>\n

When heart will be core, when cohesiveness will be mantle<\/p>\n

Crusted with visions of transcendence<\/p>\n
