The AWD team develops, designs, and maintains School of Medicine sites using the WordPress Content Management System. You can request a new site, find helpful articles on the Web Guide, or ask the team for help with your projects. The Web Guide is a resource for School of Medicine site managers and editors – intended to provide resources and instruction on basic and advanced editing in WordPress.
Qualtrics is a highly customizable web-based platform for creating survey interfaces and analyzing
online survey data, available to faculty, staff, and students at the UNC School of Medicine.
Sharepoint is a secure platform that is integrated with the Office 365 suite. AWD offers consultation and support, in conjunction with main campus ITS.

Meet Our Team
The Applications Development team is a group of diversely skilled programmers that are responsible for several major school applications. The team also provides application development services for a variety of departments, centers and programs throughout the school.
The Web Design/Development team consists of highly creative web developers and graphic designers. The team has been responsible for designing several major websites including the new School of Medicine Redesign and various department, center and program sites.
The Customer Engagement and Operations team is a group of dedicated IT professionals, software developers, business analysts and support analysts that provide operational IT support to School of Medicine applications and shared services including Qualtrics and Tableau.
