Use of our streaming media services are subject to the terms of our user agreements. Please review the applicable documents below before using our systems.

Recording Release Form

Any persons being recorded who are not affiliated with the School of Medicine must sign our General Recording Release Form.

It is the responsibility of the person requesting or creating the recording to obtain consent from any speakers or presenters by having the release form signed and submitted to Instructional Media Services at

Patient Protected Health Information (PHI) cannot be recorded under any circumstance.


We cannot record, store or broadcast any copyrighted material without permission from the copyright owner, unless a portion is used that meets the federal exceptions of Fair Use for education. Please refer to the Scholarly Communications Office website for more information on Copyright and Fair Use guidelines.

Intellectual Property

We are not able to record, store or broadcast any intellectual property without permission from the owner. Please contact the Scholarly Communications Office website for more information.

Persons Who Do Not Want To Be Recorded

We are not able to record, store or broadcast any person who does not want to be recorded. Please make sure your presenters are aware in advance that they will be recorded and have signed our General Recording Release Form if necessary. Also, please make your audience members aware of the recording prior to the start to prevent private conversations from being recorded before, during, or after the presentation.
