OSPREY

The OSPREY I and II are a series of observational studies which examine pain management decision making, effectiveness, and side effects for older adults seen in the UNC Emergency Department with acute pain. The study collects information both from the ED visit and at one week follow-up. Dr. Platts-Mills is PI of these studies. Additionally leadership on the project comes from UNC medical student researchers Shannon Spano Matthews, Cameron Isaacs, and Alison Rittenberg.
