Jane Gross, MD, PhD, will be co-hosting the Hawai’i, Asia, Pacific Island Alliance (HAPA) NTM and Bronchiectasis International Conference in Honolulu, HI, from March 8-10, 2027. The conference theme will be “Expanding the NTM Landscape: Evolving Clinical and Research Pathways.” Dr. Gross will be speaking at the conference on the topic of “Host susceptibility to infection, bronchiectasis.” Other MLI Researchers who will also be speaking include: Kenneth Olivier, MD, MPH, whose talk is entitled “Line up the missing gaps: How can we bring it all together and provide equitable NTM care to all”; Ayako Shiozawa, MD, PhD, whose talk will focus on “Perspectives on NTM Pulmonary Disease in Japan”; and Qingyun Liu, PhD, with a talk entitled “NTM genomics and bioinformatics: understanding bacterial evolution.”
