DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a presentation by Edwin K Silverman\, MD\, PhD\, Chief of the Channing Division of Network Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Professor at Harvard Medical School. \nDr. Silverman’s clinical interests include alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency\, emphysema\, pulmonary fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). His research uses a variety of genetic analysis approaches to investigate the genetic influences of complex lung diseases\, including integrative genomics\, linkage analysis\, familial aggregation analysis\, rare variant analysis and epigenetic studies.
