Our innovative longitudinal curriculum\u2014modeled after leading national programs\u2014provides an integrated learning experience that has been adopted by institutions nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>The Asheville campus started in 2009 with a cohort of four students in collaboration with UNC School of Medicine, Mission Health, and MAHEC. This allows students continuity with their preceptors and patients; students develop relationships with their primary preceptors over a long period of time and are more likely to see the same patients over time through the continuum of care.
