The Medical Education Development (MED) Program is an intensive educational experience and challenging opportunity to gain insight into the realities of attending medical or dental school.<\/p>\n

The MED Program is sponsored by the University of North Carolina Schools of Medicine<\/a> and the State of North Carolina.<\/p>\n

The program offers a structured summer curriculum<\/a> at the level of professional education to increase the ability of advanced pre-professional candidates.<\/p>\n

The MED Program is designed to help individuals who demonstrate educational promise and commitment to health careers compete successfully for admission to health professional schools.<\/p>\n

We Serve<\/h2>\n

The MED Program serves three types of students: those seeking confirmation, re-confirmation, or affirmation in their academic abilities.<\/p>\n

Our Goals<\/h2>\n

The MED Program has two goals: to break down students processes (thinking, learning, studying & testing skills), and to build up better foundations.<\/p>\n

Desired Outcome<\/h2>\n

The MED Program desires one outcome: to develop each student into a more compassionate human being, a more skilled scholar, and more insightful healthcare professional.<\/p>\n
