The TA team attends lecture, leads labs, and assists with small group and case study sessions, along with leading office hours and test prep prior to exams.<\/p>\n<p>TA positions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subject specialists (biochemistry, dental theory, gross anatomy, histology, microbiology, and physiology)<\/li>\n<li>Tutoring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Upcoming TA Interest Meetings<\/h2>\n<p>Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at 12:00pm<\/p>\n<p>Monday, December 15th, 2025 at 12:30pm<\/p>\n<p>We will discuss what the position entails, share experiences from former TAs, and answer any questions potential applicants may have.<\/p>\n<p>Applications &amp; information about interest meetings will be emailed to UNC SOM and Adams School of Dentistry students.<\/p>\n<p>TA positions are available to first-year medical and dental students.<\/p>\n<h2>Interviews<\/h2>\n<p>Applications will be reviewed at the end of January through the beginning of February, and applicants will be notified about scheduling interviews.
