1. Expose medical students to a career in Neurosurgery
2. Refine the student’s neurological exam and assessment skills
Learning Activities:
Weekly scheduled conferences and rounds
Rounds, clinics and ORs each day
Expected hours: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (approx.)
No on-call requirements
STUDENTS: These rotations are all available through the Surgery Clerkship
Evaluation: All 2-week career exploration electives are pass fail. Attendance and participation are required to pass. A presentation may be assigned.
