Elective blocks are also an opportunity to do away rotations at other institutions (note<\/span> that<\/span> Acting Internships at outside institutions will count for elective credit at UNC).<\/span><\/span>

Elective Credits<\/h2>\n

Twelve weeks of elective <\/span>experience<\/span>, equal to 18 credit hours, are <\/span>required<\/span> during <\/span>the Individualization<\/span> Phase. Two-week, four-week, and longitudinal electives are available. Each <\/span>4-week<\/span> elective block is equivalent to 6 credit hours or ~<\/span>160 hours<\/span> of work<\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span>At least <\/span>8 weeks<\/span> of elective time should be clinical experiences (please note that pathology and radiology are considered clinical experiences).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
