Audrey Faber is originally from Hendersonville, NC.  Before medical school, Audrey pursued a degree in Comparative Literature with an emphasis on Health Humanities.  This led her to realize that the stories told by patients are the key to good primary care and her enjoyment in practicing medicine. “Enjoyment is half the battle of doing something hard.”

“As a FIRST student, I have felt privileged to work closely with amazing faculty who are passionate about Family Medicine, teaching, and patient advocacy. Early clinical experience gave me a huge advantage in building confidence and my ability to contextualize everything I was learning, even in first year. The support for my learning and wellbeing throughout the FIRST program has been incredible, and I am grateful and excited as I begin to look ahead towards residency. I know I will be well prepared.”
