Yee Lam, MD, PhD attended the University of North Carolina for both medical school and her family medicine residency. Prior to starting medical school, Dr. Lam earned a PhD from Duke University. After completing residency, she joined the Family Medicine department as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Lam is a dedicated part of the FIRST Program’s faculty for family medicine. “I became involved with the FIRST program because I am committed to medical education and improving access to quality healthcare for underserved communities across North Carolina. Mentoring and working closely with students committed to providing this care has been a wonderful experience.”
