Learning Environment Praise

I know I speak for my entire PCC group that Dr. Dale has had an incredible impact on our development as future physicians. Teaching the PCC course requires patience and enthusiasm to bring brand new medical students to a place where they can effectively function as a member of the healthcare team, and Dr. Dale demonstrated those qualities every week. I was also given the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Dale in the geriatric clinic and on the wards of the geriatric service. The entire team working with her on the wards was blown away by her ability to connect with her patients, as well as every member of the healthcare team. These are the physicians we should aspire to be like someday, and I am thankful UNC attracts teaching physicians like Dr. Dale.
