Learning Environment Praise

I wanted to give some praise to the course director for the medicine AI down in Wilmington (Dr. Butler). I think it's important during the COVID pandemic to ensure students understand that there are no academic penalties due to lost clinical time for self reporting COVID related symptoms. He did just that at the beginning of the rotation, gave me his phone number and told me to contact him with any symptoms I may have. Importantly, he was also proactive, saying that if this were to happen he would have activities in mind for me to do in the event I cant go into the hospital. May seem like a small thing but I think its something all preceptors/course directors can learn from.
