MD-PhD Program Retreat

Every year, all participants in the MD-PhD Program gather in Wrightsville Beach, NC for a weekend of work and play. The primary goal of the retreat is to welcome the incoming students and integrate them into the program, but it is also an opportunity to discuss “business” items, participate in peer advising and team building activities, and plan for the new school year. Perhaps the best part of the retreat is the time allocated for much-needed rest and relaxation before we all dive back into the work of the new semester.
