Dr. Rose-Jones’ clinical and research focus is on advanced treatments for heart failure and pulmonary arterial hypertension.  Her expertise includes mechanical circulatory support as a bridge prior to cardiac transplantation or as a destination therapy for patients who are not medically eligible for heart transplant. Dr. Rose-Jones’ additional interests include adult congenital heart disease, critical care cardiology, and echocardiography.

As the Program Director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, she is heavily involved in ensuring the education of the next generation of cardiologists. She is also a Patient Centered Care (PCC) Tutor for first and second year students in the UNC School of Medicine, where she works to help solidify the education of future physicians.
