About
My areas of clinical expertise are in advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation, and pulmonary arterial hypertension. One of my greatest joys is keeping sick hearts (and lungs!) doing as well as they can for as long as they can. Both of these disease processes have seen significant growth in research and an increase in our therapeutic armamentarium to combat them. I am fortunate to practice at an institution that makes all of these available to our patients and the capability to offer advanced strategies (ie. LVAD, transplant) when needed.

My personal philosophy in Cardiology is to practice medicine such that I do one of two things: make patients feel better and help them to live longer!
