Clinical and Research Interests
April Goley is a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Division of Endocrinology at both UNC Hospitals and at UNC Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinic at Meadowmont. As part of the inpatient consult service she conducts medical management, coordination of care, patient and staff education, and quality improvement projects. She is also a sub-investigator with clinical trials conducted at the Diabetes Care Center. Her interests are in the prevention and treatment of diabetes, cystic fibrosis related diabetes, as well as exercise and its effects on blood glucose levels.
