About
Cara graduated from Miami University with a degree in nutrition and minor in neurosciences.
As a medical student, Cara dedicated her time to volunteer work, receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her outstanding commitment. In addition to volunteer work with the student clinic, she was actively involved with her AMWA chapter and worked as a research assistant with a Reach Out program to analyze public health determinants and barriers to high-quality healthcare. In recognition of her outstanding academic performance and dedication to patients and the community, Cara was inducted into both the AOA and Gold Humanism honor societies.
In her free time, Cara enjoys reading, yoga, hiking, and travel.
