Personal Statement

I have oncology and public health training with a strong focus on oncology clinical trials. From that foundation, I aim to provide cutting edge, compassionate care. I have received the “Carolina Care Excellence Award” which acknowledges my dedication to caring for the whole patient, not just their illness. I strive to be a good listener and build support networks for patients and caregivers that address the physical and emotional stress of a cancer diagnosis. In my role as Medical Director for the UNC Lineberger Clinical Protocol Office, I strive to make cancer treatments better for all current and future patients.
