Colin was born and raised in Fair Haven, New Jersey. He received a history degree from Yale University and medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He came to UNC to continue to care for the people of NC and to learn from UNC’s stellar specialties and primary care physicians, particularly what he calls its energetic Med-Peds physician cohort. Colin says the opportunity to be a supporting character in the living narratives of his patients is what motivates him most. He is interested in healthcare innovation, quality improvement, and efforts to reduce healthcare disparities. Outside of medicine, he enjoys travel, reading, hiking, and skiing.
