Cristina Guzzetti, MD

After graduating from the University of Georgia, Cristina worked as a research data analyst with the Regenerative Bioscience Center in Athens, exploring the effects of using human-induced pluripotent stem cells for the treatment of stroke and worked with multiple clinical trials in the area as a research coordinator. Cristina also volunteered in Swaziland as a medical assistant, worked in Thailand as a medical student, and volunteered in Honduras. She is a competitive soccer player and enjoys fitness, skiing, fishing, and hiking. Cristina will be staying at UNC after her intern year as a resident in our Radiology program.
