Dale grew up in Branchburg, NJ, and attended college at the State University of New York at Geneseo. Inspired by courses in the humanities, Dale developed a passion to serve vulnerable populations and dedicated a year to serving the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, caring for people with intellectual disabilities at a L’Arche community in Washington, DC. He then attended the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. Dale enjoys running, basketball and playing tennis. He also enjoys listening to live jazz, watching drum corps and trying ethnic cuisines.
