Dr. Cole’s clinical interests include inpatient general medicine as well as bedside procedures. She is interested in bedside ultrasound as an inexpensive and powerful diagnostic tool, especially as the technology becomes smaller and more readily available.
There are so many rewarding aspects to hospital medicine. I enjoy the diagnostic challenge as well as seeing a patient through an acute illness and watching them improve on a daily basis. Teaching medical students and residents is such a privilege, and I often find that I learn as much from them as they do from me.
