About
Jason joined the UNC Emergency Medicine residency in 2019, but during the course of the year came to the difficult decision to switch to Internal Medicine. Jason served as a US Navy Hospital Corpsman and later in the US Navy Reserves as a Leading Petty Officer in Raleigh, and worked throughout college as an EMT in Wake County. Jason was chosen as one of 10 selected medical students as a Leaders in Innovative Care (LINC) Scholar. Jason is interested in pursuing a career in Pulmonary/Critical care, and his career interests include the use of POCUS and healthcare administration.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys being outdoors with his dog and North Carolina BBQ.
