Clinical and Research Interests

Dr. Klein’s clinical focus is with invasive cardiology and the appropriate use of advanced cardiac imaging (cardiac CT, MRI, and nuclear cardiology). Dr. Klein’s most current research efforts have focused on the development of innovative software tools to assist to point-of-care clinical reporting and data capture.

Dr. Klein has been a key member of the Center for Medical Informatics and Carolina Data Warehouse for Health, providing critical guidance towards improving and growing secure, confidential medical data collection for use in clinical trials and other cardiovascular research.
